Project universityoftampa 2023 06 07 143246

Located in the heart of University of Tampa’s campus, the 90,000 SF, six-story Graduate and Health Studies Building is the largest academic building at The University of Tampa.

The building flows organically with the rest of the architecture on campus with red brick, precast concrete, metal and glass, offering panoramic views of the campus and downtown Tampa. The lighting is designed to be technically functional, first and foremost.

With medical cutting-edge technology and innovation being the mission for the University, the lighting design is crisp, intentional, bright and flexible. The first-floor lobby space welcomes you with an integrated lighting feature detail in the acoustic paneling designed by Beck Group. As you move up through the floors and into the subsequent lobbies the lighting compliments the use of each floor and reflects the character of each school using the floors. The UT President has a passion for art, so there was a focused art lighting layer integrated into the design throughout the building.
